SUMMARY:COP28 German Pavilion Side Event „Boosting Youth Participation in Climate Policy”
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an enlightening and inspiring symposium where we invited a diverse lineup of speakers that represent the compelling case for immediate global action to combat climate change from the youth perspective. Starting with a passionate story of one activist in the Philippines\, the event delves on the repercussions faced by youth activists in climate politics and presents tools for influential force of youth engagement and the significance of intersectionality and inclusion in strategic planning and climate justice petitions hailing from South Africa\, Pakistan\, and Germany. \nWe are thrilled to organize this side-event at COP28 in collaboration with GenderCC and kindernothilfe\, providing diverse insights into climate activism. Learn more about the challenges young activists face in climate politics and discover the tools for impactful youth engagement. \nWe advocate for intersectionality and inclusion in strategic planning to promote climate justice.
